walls of coal, black moldings, hardwood floors in Burgundy?
We have one square foot room above the family 400 with four walls and three large windows. We want the walls painted dark charcoal, black and burgundy molding hardwood floors of the Crown. Has anyone done something similar? We have a sofa section that Deep Purple is 10 people, we have a coffee table with black marble top. We will have a black iron gate with a glass of wine summit. I have a curiosity about how it will look. Ceiling will be white and the blinds are white. Add colorful pictures.
Tres chic sophisticated. In my 30 years in interior design, usually do not see these Americans venture into bold colors, but is very common in Europe. The only other addition that could add to the warmth and anchor of a sofa is a rug in front of the sofa and spreads under the coffee table. BTW my own family room has walls of coal, black moldings and mantel, ceiling red and gold, the floors of Burgundy, marble coffee table, chair leather wing and supported Burgundy silk chenille sofa dupon and anchored by a large wool rug. Then, of course, love the colors! LOL
